Security and data handling

Your budget file is the most sensitive thing you will send us.

Here is where it goes, who can see it, how long we keep it and how you get it deleted. Written for the CFO and for the person in IT who has to sign off.

What we receive

One Excel workbook in the ScenarioCast template: the budget, forecast or business case you want stress tested, as plan values, drivers and ranges. No ledger, no customer data, no personal data beyond the names of the assumption owners you choose to put in the file.

Where it runs

The Studio runs on Google Cloud. The engine reads the workbook, runs the scenarios in memory and returns the results to your browser. The public website and this page are served from Vercel. All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS.

Production is hosted in Google Cloud's europe-west1 region today. A US-region deployment is available for US customers on request, and we set that up during implementation.

Who can see it

Your model lives in your company's own workspace, keyed to your email domain, and no other company can reach it. Logging in requires an email and password held in Google Firebase Authentication. Sessions expire after 14 days. The only ScenarioCast people who open your file are the ones who run your implementation, and only during the two weeks unless you ask for help later.

We never share your data with third parties, and we do not use customer models to train anything. The public use case on this site runs on a model we built from a public company's filings and stores nothing.

How long we keep it

Every version you upload stays available in the Studio until you delete it, so you can go back to a previous plan. Your source file is never overwritten. When you cancel, or whenever you ask, we delete every version and the run history within five business days and confirm by email.

What you keep

The template is an Excel file. It works without us. The Excel report from every run is yours. Nothing about the setup requires you to keep paying to read your own numbers.

Reviews and questionnaires

Send us your vendor security questionnaire and we fill it in. If your IT team wants a call with the person who built the system, that is a 30-minute Teams call, booked like a demo. Book it here.
