Three moments produce data: booking a demo, logging in, uploading a workbook. Here is what each one stores and why.
When you book a demo: your name, work email, company, role, the slot you chose and the note you wrote. We use it to run the call and to follow up on it. Kept for twelve months after the call, then deleted.
When you log in to the Studio: your email address, held in Google Firebase Authentication, and a session cookie that expires after 14 days. We use it to know which company's workspace to open.
When you upload a workbook: the plan values, drivers, ranges and the names of assumption owners you put in the file. We use it only to run your scenarios and to deliver the engagement. Kept until you delete it or cancel, then deleted within five business days.
When you visit the site: Vercel's web analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. There is no advertising tracking.
Performing the contract with you, or the steps you ask for before it (a demo, a quote), and our legitimate interest in running and securing the service. We do not sell data, share it with third parties for their own use, or use customer models to train anything.
Google Cloud, region europe-west1 (Belgium), for the Studio, the engine and the stored workbooks, with a US-region deployment available on request. Google Firebase for logins. Vercel for the public website and the booking page. All three hold data under standard contractual clauses where it leaves the EU. Email runs through our mail provider. See the data processing agreement for the full list of sub-processors.
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, receive a copy, or object to a use of it, by writing to hello@scenariocast.io. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
One cookie, named sc, set only when you log in to the Studio, to keep you logged in. No consent banner is needed because the cookie is required for the service you asked for and nothing else is set.
ScenarioCast, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is the controller for booking and login data. For the workbooks you upload, your company is the controller and ScenarioCast is the processor under the data processing agreement.
